The last game of football for the high school season. Next Friday, October 29th San Pasqual High School will be playing against Escondido High School at the SPHS Stadium. The JV game starts at 4:15 pm and Varsity at 7 pm. 

This is the first season being completed after a year and a half of Quarantine. Quarantine has affected the players in many ways but once they got back on the field they were ready for this year’s games.

Players on the team are debating which team will win for the final game of the season. Ethan Ponce, SPHS JV football player, takes a guess on who might win. 

“SP JV is going to win because we are aggressive all around and we have the ability to get the job done,” Ponce says. “SP Varsity is going to win for sure because this group of guys is dominant all around and they understand the game, and that’s why they play at an elite level.

Both the SPHS JV and Varsity teams are in high hopes that the SP Eagles will win against the Escondido Cougars.
