Emma Welsch, Staff Writer
Emma Welsch is a staff writer for the San Pasqual Eagle Eye at San Pasqual High School. She is in 9th grade and her favorite subject in school is writing. She recently transferred to San Pasqual from Classical High School, and she is extremely happy that she did. When she’s not at school, she scuba dives, snowboards, reads, writes, watches TV, plays with her dog, and is currently in the process of trying to figure out how to make good short movies. She loves to do anything that allows her to escape reality. Her perfect day is anytime she becomes immersed in a good book or movie. Creative writing is her favorite type of writing… especially when it comes to making stories. She really enjoys writing fiction stories. She isn’t very good at poetry although she hopes to someday get better. When it comes to journalistic writing, she is most excited about writing opinion articles for the San Pasqual Eagle Eye, so that she can express her ideas and opinions about the world. Some of her accomplishments include learning how to snowboard, being the only person under 18 in her scuba diving group to get certified, and winning the spelling bee at her old middle school. Emma recently bought her first green screen, loves writing about what she believes in and sharing her ideas, loves dogs, and dreams of someday getting into USC’s film school. To contact Emma Welsch, you can reach her at her school email, [email protected].
