Lucia Ayala, Editor in Chief
Lucia Ayala (17- years old) is a senior at San Pasqual High School. She is currently a third year journalism student and proudly holds the title of Editor in Chief. Lucia enjoys writing for all news sections. Other than writing for the Eagle Eye, she writes poetry because it allows her express herself in a different form of writing. In her free time, Lucia likes to spend time with her siblings, family and her precious little dachshund Sally. She currently manages a class of 16 students, working alongside Managing editor Sam Bredel, 11th grader at San Pasqual High School. Helping new students who have recently joined the Eagle Eye with their news stories and helping them become loyal journalists is what she loves. Lucia will continue writing, creatively and professionally even after high school, as she hopes to thrive in the spread of awareness and speak her truth for her generation.
