Sydney Hanson is a Freshmen at San Pasqual High School. Sydney’s favorite class is Journalism. From a very young age she had an interest in knowing the current events and staying up to date on important information. In her spare time, Sydney devotes her energy to her beloved pets. Whether that is buying them toys, giving them lots of attention, or giving them a good variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, she is always thinking about them. When Sydney is not focusing on her rabbits she is on her phone, listening to music, or watching her favorite TV shows. Sydney’s plans for the future include college, then veterinary school with an emphasis on rabbit emergency care. Sydney’s journalistic goals include improving her writing skills and becoming more experienced in reporting on current news. She hopes to write articles that appeal to her peers and the school community. Some fun facts about Sydney are that she has a dreamcatcher collection, is working towards becoming a bunny foster volunteer, and that she used to be a competitive ice skater.
