Aryel Armstrong is a freshman at San Pasqual High School and staff writer for the Eagle Eye, but she didn’t always live in Escondido – she lived in a small town named Westmoreland down in the Imperial County with her grandma and brother. When Aryel isn’t glued to her laptop watching Netflix, she is at volleyball practice, a volleyball game, or walking her labrador, Luna. She has 2 brothers and lives with her grandma. Her brother Albert goes to Del Dios Middle School and is 12 and is in 8th grade. Adam is 3 years old and goes to Emmanuel Faith preschool. Aryel wants to go to college at WoodBury University to earn her Bachelor of Fine Arts and become an interior designer.
