Giselle Blancas is a Senior at San Pasqual High School. She is a graphic designer and artist. She joined journalism because of her interest in interviewing people. She is fascinated with their point of view and their stories. She wants to tell other people’s stories instead of her own. Blancas believes journalism could benefit her as a future career in writing and/or storytelling. But the part she enjoys the most is meeting new people. Journalism helps her to socialize around people and boosts her confidence. She wants to help those around her by getting their word out when no one else can.
