Sean Billings, Editor in Chief
Sean Billings is a senior at San Pasqual High School and serves as the editor-in-chief of the journalism class. He helps to produce the Eagle Eye, San Pasqual’s student-run digital newspaper. Sean joined the journalism staff his sophomore year and primarily wrote articles for Eagle Eye’s Creative Campus and Feature sections. During his junior year, he was assigned to the role of co-sports editor and enjoyed the dual task of writing and editing. Some of Sean’s favorite aspects of journalism are interviewing students and editing writers’ stories. He hopes that the members of Eagle Eye finish the school year believing they contributed to something bigger than themselves and that they become better journalists in the process. Sean also runs cross country and plays baseball at San Pasqual. Some of his favorite pastimes are praying, reading, practicing different accents, and spending time with family and friends. His favorite sports teams are the San Diego Padres, Detroit Tigers, and Michigan Wolverines. His favorite places to visit are the Chicagoland area and Michigan. He has an older sister in college, a golden retriever, and lives with his parents. One of his favorite snacks is sardines with rice and spaghetti sauce. Lately he’s reacquired a liking towards peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Sean hopes to study theology and philosophy in college. In his three years of high school, he has learned of the important role that God plays in his life, and doesn’t want to miss out on the life He is calling him to live.
