Elizabeth Rivera, Staff Writer

Elizabeth Rivera is a staff writer for San Pasqual High School’s Eagle Eye. Rivera would like to work on topics of current events/social events in her school. She started San Pasqual’s first Korean culture club (K-Culture) in 2018 with the role of being president. She is very grateful that so many new students joined the club this year, and are nothing but smiles during the meetings. When Rivera isn’t doing schoolwork, she can be found listening to music, taking photos of her dog, or binge-watching Gilmore Girls all over again. In addition to her hobbies, Rivera enjoys playing her ukulele, keyboard, and loves creating poetry with paintings. She is currently a senior in her high school and aiming for good grades to get into a college that will advance her to a future career in the field of journalism. She is also in the progress of working in her club’s dance portion, where members can join a side unit of dancing to Korean music (K-Pop), to perform in this year’s talent show and a public performance as well. Another aspect is that she is also part of SP Cares, where the club is hoping to fix the 400 girls' bathroom and give it a new colorful and clean look that it deserves. Rivera currently enjoys living in Escondido, California with her family and pets but wouldn’t mind a change of location soon (as long as her dog is with her). She can be contacted best at [email protected].
