Juan Salas Jimenez is a staff writer for the Eagle Eye and a senior at San Pasqual High School. Salas loves soccer and enjoys playing competitive soccer at San Pasqual. Salas played recently in Tijuana for 3 seasons. Salas’ main position is center back and his secondary position is left back. His love for sports goes beyond soccer due to the fact that Salas loves to watch football, and he also enjoys Boxing. Salas was taught how to box at the age of 8 by his older cousin who was doing competitive boxing at the time. Salas did do some tournaments while in Tijuana but mostly boxes for the fun of it. Salas also loves music. Salas was in band during middle school and he played the Baritone Horn and Trombone. Outside of school, Salas learned percussion and how to play the trumpet. Salas loves to travel as well. As of recent, Salas had gone to Arizona, Tijuana, San Francisco, England, and other locations. Salas is also an animal lover. Most of his relatives have dogs, horses, cows, etc. He has 2 dogs: a Boxer and Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Salas is the oldest of four. He has two younger brothers, and a younger sister who is a freshman here at San Pasqual High. Salas also has a passion for things automotive. His dream vehicle to own is a 1955 Chevy 3100. Salas’ future plans are to move to Canada and have his dream truck with 2 dogs. Salas wants to be a professional soccer player and hopes to play for his dream club.
