The Escondido public library offers tons of activities to keep you busy during the summer. Whether you’re looking to volunteer, make new friends, catch up on some reading, or even visit museums, the library has something for you.
For those who want to volunteer, the Public Library offers a handful of positions. Soon to be graduating seniors might be interested in shelving library materials and helping out around the facility.
For the underclassmen, you can become a part of the Escondido Public Library’s review crew, where you review books and share your thoughts about them. You can also earn community service hours. Furthermore, thanks to the Discover & Go program, Escondido library card holders are able to access over 15 museums in San Diego for free.
The Library also hosts a variety of events and clubs such as BeYOUtiful Nail Art studio, the Animanga Kurabu, and the book club. These allow you to meet new people, explore your interests, and even discover new ones. The library has a vast array of options for anyone who is interested. And if these don’t pique your interest, you can still sign up for a free library card and read to your heart’s content!
