SPHS has many events that bring people closer together. These events include anything from pep rallies to just bringing a little bit of music onto the lawns. Our main events that the students participate the most in are our spirit weeks.

Spirit weeks include events that the students can decide to participate in and they aren’t very formal events either. The students have their choices on what they want and don’t want to take place. Students use what they have on hand to come up with the type of style they want to share. The themes range from funny to relaxed.

“I think these days really bring us together as one,” says Rhianan Stout, a junior at SP,  shown in the second picture wearing white and blue shirt for western and country club day. “I spread the word about spirit days so that everyone can be on the same page and that way everyone can enjoy it together. It’s awesome when everyone can all join in together and have fun.”

PJ Day

“I’m really going to miss the spirit days because I know there’s not really going to be a time after high school that we can all get together like this anymore,” said Sophia Adair, a junior at SPHS, who is shown in the second picture wearing the pink cowgirl hat.
