Jocelyn Ibarra

Jocelyn Ibarra is a 16 year old student at San Pasqual High School. She is a junior and a first time staff writer for the Eagle Eye paper run by San Pasqual’s Journalism department. Ibarra’s prefered writing section is the feature department because it allows Ibarra to highlight important people who have big influences within their communities. In her leisure time, Ibarra uses her creative capabilities to paint colorful and detailed landscape paintings. She also enjoys photography, capturing vivid portraits of her friends and family. She is a hard working and compassionate person, often going the extra mile to put attentive care to any obstacle put in her path. Her school life consists of taking honors and advanced placements classes in hopes of eventually making it to a high ranking university where she plans on majoring in journalism. Ibarra’s hopes for the future also include becoming a TV anchor where she will continue her passion for writing.
