Alyssa Garcia
Alyssa Garcia is a 14 year-old freshman at San Pasqual High School. She is a staff writer for the 2018-19 school newspaper, the Eagle Eye. When writing articles, Garcia enjoys writing about controversial topics because of all the different perspectives that you can view the topic, and in light of this, Garcia’s preferred article type is opinion, and also because she likes to have a voice and likes hearing about everyone’s opinions and views on the matters at hand. In her freetime, Garcia likes running and spending time with her friends and family. After high school, Garcia plans to go to a four year college, and following that, 3 years of law school, in order to achieve her aspirations of becoming a lawyer. Garcia has a very adventurous spirit and enjoys being outdoors as much as possible. Garcia thoroughly enjoys writing, and decided to do journalism knowing that she would be able to do just that and have a voice at her new school, as well as have a safe place to be creative.
